Who we are
Vitric Audio is a trade name of Stain Web Development LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, USA and registered to do business in Ohio. In these terms, "we", "us", "Vitric" and "Vitric Audio" mean Stain Web Development LLC.
Stain Web Development LLC makes audio plugins and sells them on this site, vitricaudio.com. We are based in Canton, Ohio, USA, and the plugins are built alongside Studio 4, a working recording studio. You can reach us any time at support@vitricaudio.com.
Agreeing to these terms
When you buy, claim or redeem a license, start a trial, or install a Vitric plugin, you agree to these terms and to the EULA. Browsing the site does not require an account.
What the site does
The site presents our plugins, issues free 3 day trial licenses, delivers purchased license keys by email, and runs the license portal where you manage machine activations using your license key. Requesting a trial requires email sign-in. The account dashboard shows licenses registered to your email in one place; signing in works by emailed link, and we never store a password.
Purchases run through Paddle
Our checkout is operated by Paddle.com as merchant of record. When you buy a plugin, the sale is between you and Paddle: Paddle processes your payment, collects and remits VAT or sales tax where required, and sends your receipt. We never see or store your card details. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment itself; ours apply to the software and this site.
Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where Paddle supports it. Refunds are processed through Paddle under our refund policy.
Licenses and trials
Plugins are licensed, not sold. What you can do with a license, including how many computers it covers, offline activation for full licenses, and trial behavior, is spelled out in the EULA. In short: a license is personal to you, a trial is free and full function for 3 days. At expiry, processing locks until a purchased license or valid subscription is installed.
Subscriptions
Vitric sells three subscription plans, billed monthly or yearly through Paddle, our merchant of record. Vitric Access licenses every released Vitric plugin, and every plugin released while you subscribe, and includes a monthly allowance of Vitric credits. Vitric Pro includes everything in Access, plus early access to new plugins, the Vitric Sounds packs and the Monthly Drop, a larger monthly allowance of Vitric credits, and priority support. Vitric Ultra includes everything in Pro, with the largest monthly allowance of Vitric credits.
A subscription renews automatically at the price you subscribed at until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account or from any Paddle receipt. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the plugins and everything else the plan includes work until then, and after that the plugins' processing locks until you subscribe again or buy a license outright.
You can switch between plans, or between monthly and yearly billing, from your account at any time. The switch takes effect at once and Paddle prorates it: moving up charges the difference for the rest of the current period, moving down credits the unused part of the old plan against your next payments, and moving to yearly billing starts a new yearly period from that day. The account page shows the amount before you confirm. If a payment for a switch fails, your plan stays as it was. Moving down from Pro ends the Pro extras at once.
Price lock: if you subscribe by November 30, 2026, your price never goes up while that subscription stays active, even if the plan's price goes up later. It ends if the subscription ends; a new subscription after that pays the price at that time. If you switch to another plan or billing period, you pay that plan's price at the time of the switch.
Sale prices: if you subscribe while a plan is on sale, your subscription price stays the same for as long as that subscription stays active, also after the sale ends. Switching to another plan or between monthly and yearly keeps the sale price of the plan and period you switch to, also after the sale ends; for a subscription that started at a sale price, this takes the place of the switch rule in the paragraph above. It ends if the subscription ends; a new subscription after that pays the price at that time.
Early access builds are pre-release software, provided as they are. They can change, have bugs or miss features the release will have, and they are licensed only while your Pro subscription is active. Please do not share or publish the builds themselves; you are welcome to talk about them.
The Vitric Sounds packs and Monthly Drop content download from your account while your Pro subscription is active, under the Vitric Sounds license shown on each pack's page. Music you make with them stays yours, including commercial releases.
Mix Assistant and Arrangement Coach give advice generated from measurements of your audio; it is a starting point, not a guarantee about your mix. They and Vitric Master run on Vitric credits. Each plan includes a set number of credits for each month of the subscription, shown on the pricing page with what each use costs; unused credits do not carry over to the next month and end when the subscription ends. Credits that come with a plugin purchase last 12 months and end if that purchase is refunded or charged back. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money. A use that fails gives its credits back. An account without credits may try each tool a limited number of times, per account and per network; free tries can pause for everyone for a while when demand is high. The allowance is for one person's own music: we may limit or pause access for automated or scripted use, a shared or resold account, or use that degrades the service for others.
Subscription licenses renew themselves over the internet: each computer running a subscribed plugin checks in on its own whenever it is online and must connect at least once every 30 days to keep the subscription running there. If a renewal payment fails, the plugins keep working for 7 days while it is retried. A refunded or charged-back subscription, or a computer taken off the license, stops on that computer at its next check-in, and within 30 days at most.
The refund policy covers your first payment. If a renewal price ever changes, you will be told by email before it applies.
Fair use of the site
The trial and licensing endpoints are rate limited and meant for humans setting up their own machines. Do not script bulk trial requests, probe the licensing API, share license keys, or attempt to interfere with the service. We may revoke licenses obtained or used in violation of these terms or the EULA.
We send transactional email you asked for: license deliveries, trial licenses, and replies to support requests. We may also send a few follow-ups about a plugin you bought, claimed or tried, occasional offers to free claimants, and news to the waitlist about the products you signed up for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Details, including where we ask for consent first, are in the privacy policy.
Reviews
Only license holders can review a plugin, and we publish reviews whether they are good or bad. Reviews from people who got the plugin free as press, reviewers or partners are labeled. Anyone connected to Vitric, such as our members, contractors, family or partners, may not post a review without saying so in it. Creators and reviewers who got a free license or earn a commission from us must disclose that wherever they talk about our plugins. We may remove a review that breaks these rules or contains personal data, abuse or spam.
Warranty and liability
The plugins and this site are provided as is. We work hard to keep both reliable, and the trial exists so you can confirm a plugin behaves in your sessions before paying. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the product involved. Nothing here limits rights that your local consumer law does not allow to be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the store evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. These terms form an agreement between you and Stain Web Development LLC, and are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA.
