From download to your first session
Choose your computer and DAW to see the installation path. Your DAW’s own operating-system requirements also apply.
- Run the installer with your DAW closed
Get your plugin’s installer from Downloads and run it. On macOS the package installs plugins into the system Library, not a standalone app in Applications.
- Choose the right plugin format
Choose your computer and DAW above for the matching format and folder. Logic Pro uses AU, Pro Tools uses AAX, and a DAW with VST3 support can use VST3.
- Put it on the right track
Use an audio track or bus for effects. Kiln belongs on an instrument or MIDI track and needs MIDI notes. Plinth processes incoming audio as an effect.
- Activate or start a trial
Open the plugin’s license panel. Paste your purchased key and choose Apply license, or choose Start free trial and sign in to request a 3-day trial for this computer. Load the emailed trial file with Load file. Trials start when issued and need periodic internet verification.
A REAL PERSON ON THE OTHER END
Let’s work it out.
Tell us the plugin and version, your OS and DAW versions, and the exact message or behavior you see. For purchase help, include the order email and order number.
Common questions
Can I use my plugins offline?
Purchased perpetual licenses work offline after activation. Use the license portal on a connected device to make a file for the machine code shown by the plugin, then choose Load file on the studio computer. Trials need periodic internet verification.
What if a plugin is not right for me?
Purchases have a 14-day money-back guarantee. Read the refund policy for details and how to ask.
